Ardlethan Art. A weekend of culture.

Friday night May 25th. The normally quiet town of Ardlethan, the gateway to the Riverina came alive with pomp and circumstance when local MP Stephanie Cooke opened the exhibition fund raiser A Taste of Yianni. There were over 80 works of art on display by Yianni (me) and a couple of ring ins,  Peter Smeeth with a portrait of Yianni and Katherine Close again with a portrait of Yianni. Sparkles on frocks, and suits on Farmers. The towns people came out in their finest. It was beautiful seeing everyone dress for the Art occasion. For me I have to say it was one of the finest catered exhibitions I have had and I have had them in the big cities of Australia, New York, Montreal, Beijing. Nothing comes close. People flocked to the wall featuring twenty portraits of politicians rendered in such a way that guests had to use their mobile phone's camera to see these magical portraits in a realistic way. It was fun watching the town interact with my art and I can't wait to do it agai
